ABOUT ME
My full name is Dr. Syed Sultan Mahmood Hussain. I was born on October 29th, 1937. I am a Pakistani Writer/Professor. Before I started writing books I was a College Professor. I got my Matriculation from Christian Institute Raiwind in 1953, F.Sc. Medical from Government Inter College Gulberg-Lahore in 1958, B.A from Islamia College Sukkur in 1966, M.A Urdu from Islamia College Sukkur in 1968, M.A English from Islamia College Sukkur in 1970, and Ph.D. from Sind University Hyderabad, Sind. in 1976
My Topics of Research were Lectures of Garcin de Tassy, Editing and Annotation and Professor in Urdu Sind University Hyderabad.
I also spent few years in service. For example:
Pakistan Railways: Assistant Station Master Sep 11, 1959 to Dec 26, 1976, in Karachi and Sukkur Division.
Lecturer in Urdu-Government Degree College Pasrur from Dec 30, 1976, to Feb 5, 1987, and in Government College Sheikhupura from Feb7, 1987, to March 12, 1989.
Assistant Professor and Head of Urdu Department at Government College Sheikhupura from March 13, 1989, to Oct 28, 1997.
I retired on October 28, 1997, in Pakistan and I am very Proud of my early life.
